The Armistice ending the fighting of World War I took place on the eleventh hour of the eleventh month in 1918. One hundred years later, we honor those who fought and died. Join us at the World War I Memorial Flagstaff in Washington Square Park, dedicated to those from the neighborhood who lost their lives, as we commemorate this occasion.

The ceremony includes a wreath laying and moment of silence and features music by the West Village Chorale and NYU Pipes & Drums.
