Join us for a puppet making workshop and presentation.
On Tuesday, August 16, our Playground Associate-a Parks Department Recreation staffer whose position the Conservancy has funded for four summers-will present Puppet Show Day. On this day, children are invited to make craft stick puppets and put them to use in a show for the parents and guardians.
Tuesday, August 16
Suggested ages: 4-10
10:30 AM to 12:30 PM
2:30 PM to 5:30 PM
After assembling their own puppets (with all materials supplied at the big playground), children will put on a show of “The Many Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf.”
Though the activity and show will be on this day only, the Playground Associate will be at the big playground from 10 AM to 6 PM every Tuesday through Saturday, providing general supervision and coordinated play activities.
*Please note only children and their caretakers are allowed in playground areas.
